I have the V1000h for about 4 years and find the wi-fi works pretty good. In a medium size 2 story house wi-fi is problem-free in all rooms, garage, back yard, and front yard, even standing on the other side of the street. V1000h is just sitting on the floor and I never even adjusted the position or antennas to get best coverage.

I have an Actiontec V1000H modem/router which has Telus firmware 31.121L.17.
