I'm planning a trip to the Bahamas and I noticed a comment about fuel left. The author suggested having locking gas caps which would certainly give me some piece of mind. I searched and didn't find any options - has anyone used a locking cap from another platform car/boat for storage in a situation where you are leaving your plane somewhere?

I went down this same road and if you don't get the right gas cap your check engine light will come on and the diagnostic reads "slight vapor leak in the EVAP system", in my search I went to 3 different auto parts stores. Autozone gave me the wrong cap, Advance also gave me the wrong cap, but O'reileys got it right.

Was put off by the fact they don't have one available for a 2015 Impala. The stock gas cap door and gas cap are completely accessible as there is no release button from the inside.

Since the diesel guys get a gas cap Ill throw this up here. GM P/N: 84308352. Says its for a Silverado but it fits perfectly on my '18. Im about 99% sure this would fit on a '17 as well.
